Axis Telesolutions, Inc. is a leader in the wireless handset repair business. Our wireless repair roots go back to the very first Avaya wireless handsets: the 9000 series telephones which are commonly known as the Transtalk Handsets. In addition to these Avaya products, we were repairing the Nortel 7406 wireless handsets. These repairs were primarily on a smaller scale because the average customer only had a few of these handsets, but it was an excellent option for customers, due to the telephone's high initial investment. The volume of repairs changed when Avaya introduced the 9600 series and ultimately the Avaya 9631, which were true enterprise handsets. We started repairing hundreds per month for Big Box retailers that were using these wireless handsets which were indispensable to them. This combination made Axis an excellent choice for repairing these handsets and ultimately every other wireless handset we repair today.
The second generation of wireless handsets was lead by a third party and that was Spectralink. Axis welcomed the challenge of taking on a new manufacturer and ultimately started repairing hundreds of Spectralink handsets, as well. At this point in history, Spectralink had the market cornered and was licensing their product to Avaya, Nortel, etc. This is when Axis Telesolutions, Inc. invested in the technology and resources to test and repair all of these wireless handsets and that tradition continues today.
We Offer Multiple Repair Options.
We have several repair options for every size customer. We are still repairing the individual Avaya Transtalks and we offer repair contracts for customers with larger volumes.
The most basic option we offer is the Depot Repair Option: you contact one of our account managers, they issue a repair request and you send us your wireless handsets for repair. Your handset will be received, you will be notified of any discrepancies and your handset will begin the repair process. Our typical turn around for Depot Repair services on wireless handsets is about ten days. A more sophisticated repair option is the Depot Maintenance Option. This option is for customers that would like the comfort of getting replacement phones quickly, similar to a maintenance program but without the high cost of a maintenance contract. With this program, we guarantee to ship your replacement phones within 24 hours of receipt.
Choose Asset Management with a Repair Solution.
We also offer a complete solution that is excellent for customers who would like someone to manage their wireless needs. This is option is part of our Asset Management Program and we take care of everything. The customer sends us their wireless handsets, we test them, repair or refurbish as needed and redeploy them to any location you choose. Most customers would be surprised to know that this option does not cost much more than our Depot Repair Service and is well worth it. Customers no longer have to deal with their handsets, testing, inventorying, repairing, refurbishing and shipping.
