The Partner Family of products has been around for over twenty years and is one the most widely distributed small office business systems ever created. This demand and desire for the Partner System has given Avaya the incentive to continue manufacturing the Partner Business phone system to this day. Partner Advanced Communications System
The PARTNER® Advanced Communications System processor module supports five incoming lines and nine extensions with a maximum configuration of 21 lines and 44 extensions, or 31 lines and eight extensions. The processor module can operate on its own or can be used with a 2- or 5-slot carrier and additional expansion modules. Expansion modules can be used to add lines and extensions to the system, or additional capabilities such as voice messaging and fractional T1 support.
PARTNER ACS systems support a wide variety of features including Caller ID (name and number), Distinctive Ringing, Send All Calls, Speed Dialing, and five-party conferencing, each helping employees to be more efficient and productive. Cell Phone Connect via the T1 module enables customers to answer calls even if they are out of the office by allowing calls to ring simultaneously at their desk phone and their cell phone. Enhanced accessibility is also achieved through the Remote Call Forwarding feature, which enables a call to be immediately directed to any external number.
Partner II
The following list provides an overview of the Partner II system basic features, along with the additional capabilities that you can get by customizing it: -The system will provide a maximum capacity of either 24 lines and 24 extensions, or 16 lines and 48 extensions.-It uses interchangeable parts, making the system easy to install, maintain, and upgrade.-It provides each extension with access to multiple lines from one phone.-It supports industry-standard touch-tone and rotary telephones.-It supports two -It supports up to two Intercom Autodialers at each programming extension - for dialing and transferring calls to other system extensions with one touch, and for easily seeing which extensions are busy.
-It lets you connect fax machines, answering machines, modems, and credit card scanners directly to your phone system. Therefore, you do not have to buy extra lines or expensive adapters to connect these devices to the system.-It displays prompts and messages to guide you when programming, making it easy for you to change the way the system and phones are programmed.
Partner Plus
The Partner Plus Communications System is a digital telephone system that supports loop start lines. The system can accommodate 2 lines and 6 system phones. The Partner Plus has been enhanced to provide music on hold and a loudspeaker paging system.
