This is an inside sales position that will involve prospecting and selling within the federal government.


The candidate will be contacting the federal government, selling products and services within our GSA contract. This will involve contacting agencies that have purchased from us in the past and contacting prospective buyers.
The sales representative will be processing orders, creating emails for marketing, creating lists and prospecting from those lists.
Candidates, who exceed the skill requirements, would have the opportunity to work from home, but most candidates will work from our office: 8am - 5 pm in the beginning and then have some flexibility once they are established.

Skill Requirements

This will be inside sales, so you must feel comfortable on the telephone and, in the early stages, be willing to spend most of your day on the telephone contacting prospective buyers.
Successful prospecting should lead to ongoing relationships and repeat business. At that point, you will be more of an account manager and need to be highly organized and efficient with your time.
To be successful, this candidate should either have previous experience selling telecommunications equipment or have a history of working with or for the federal government.
Possible candidates with no telecom experience may include ex-military with excellent organization and communications skills, ex-federal government employees with procurement experience, or have a history working with GSA contracts.
In addition to sales skills, the candidate should also have experience working with Microsoft Office and a Customer Contact Manager.


Compensation includes a base salary, commissions, paid holidays, medical insurance, dental insurance and life insurance.
